Many may argue that they lost all opportunities during the Covid, however, not the K dramas because they found a place in people’s heart. The Korean dramas took the world by storm and have been attracting audience globally. Now it’s their time to ‘expect the unexpected’.
Hometown cha-cha-cha or Seaside cha-cha-cha is an upcoming drama featuring Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho who already have a good career in acting, and it is currently the ‘talk of the town’. The onscreen pair are already considered as ‘cute’ and winning hearts of the audience.
Fans already started to count days and are awaiting for the release of it’s first episode.

A ‘Frenemy’ Vibe With A Pinch Of Romance
The story is set up in a seaside village of Gongjin making it as a ‘Peace to Watch’ backgrounds. The official teaser was dropped one day ago and have a decent number of views on YouTube. The lead roles i.e Shin Min Ah (Yoon Hye Jin) and Kim Seon Ho (Hong Doo Sik) are a two opposite side of the world and when they first meet it’s a quite unusual meeting.
Yoon Hye Jin is a dentist who goes through lot of troubles for being little righteous and end up in the seaside village of Gongjin- a different world to adapt and explore. Hong Doo Sik is a god of odd jobs and provides an helping hand although he is officially unemployed and the local residents call him by the name of Chief Hong.
When Yoon Hye Jin met Hong Doo Sik she becomes curious about him and wants to know more about him, initially she comes to know that he is unemployed but is educated have a pack of certificate to prove it. It’s a game of cat and mouse at the beginning but as time goes on it turns out to be a romantic portrayal and a win-win moment to the viewers.
Is It Worth the Wait?
Whenever there is a debate on what to expect from an upcoming movie or drama the trailer says it all and it did meet the expectations of the viewers. Also the supporting characters in the drama have their own personal story which includes comedy and deep sorrow.
There are many reasons to watch this K drama as it is a Rom-com and there is a low chance of bad guy’s entry which creates a ‘feel good’ vibe to the audience.
Keeping in mind the response from audience is massive and it is a can’t wait to binge moment.
The premiere is on tvN on August 28, 2021 and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 21:00 (KST) and is also set to stream in Netflix.
