The Last Kingdom Season 4 Recap and What We Can Expect in its Next Season
The Last Kingdom Season 5 premiered on Netflix on March 9 is what fans have been waiting for a long time.
After a long wait of two years, Season 4 has opened the way for Season 5. Looking at its latest release, we can expect more fighting and intense fighting in the upcoming season. Fight between the Saxons and Danes, and Uthred’s journey of conquering Bebbanburg will surely continue.

The Battle of victory
At the start of the season, we learn that Uthred was aware of Leofric’s take over Bebbenbrug, and several attacks enlist his power over it. Seeing this as an opportunity, he got the land back from Leofric.
He continues his journey to Wessex and comes in contact with King Edward who helps him on his mission. Upon their return, Leofric’s son arrives unexpectedly and things get complicated when Babenberg’s men join his army. Again Uthred was left alone and a fight broke out between the Saxons and the Danes.
The battle of Tettenhall started and despite the victory in the battle, Aethelred got injured and died. We also saw that Brida is set free and is furious with Uthred.
What we can expect in season 5
The end of Season 4 saw a peaceful ending which makes us wonder that this peace between the Saxons and the Danes is only for a limited time period.
We saw that Brida is angry with Uthred and the Saxons for hurting her, she may urge to fight with Uthred once again. Edward, on the other hand, fought for England in the season. Seeing the end of Season 4 paves the way for season 5 . In which we can expect to see the unexpected destinies of these characters.
