Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid have been hanging out and seeing each other since June of this month, and things are getting serious. The couple who has been happy together for two and a half months have decided to move in along.
The 24-year-old singer and, the 20-year-old model confirmed their relationship when they attended the British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park in July 2019 together. Progressing their relationship to the next level, the young couple has moved in together in a rented apartment in New York.
A source close to the couple revealed that the decision made sense as the couple is rarely apart and they are often at each other’s places be it in his house in Los Angeles or her home in London. Anwar Hadid, who is the brother of the famous Hadid sisters, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid, has also already introduced the singer to his family and his family seems to like her. ‘Dua visited last month and met up with his family. They like her, and she feels solid with Anwar,” revealed the source.
At present Dua Lipa is working on her new album which will be a followup to her 2017’s self-titled debut album. The source explained further that with her new music in work, the singer would have to spend much time in New York and so the decision to have a place in the city and to stay with Hadid makes sense.
Furthermore, since both his sisters are also based in New York, Anwar will be closer to his family.
Anwar Hadid who has been a model for a brand like Hugo Boss also released a debut album of his titled Bleach at the beginning of the year. It was Anwar’s album that connected the couple who were fans of each other’s works. The young couple in love has more in store for them in the future.
