Batman fans are in for a real treat!
As you might have already figured out from the trailer, Planet of the Apes director Matt Reeves is not messing around when it comes to the upcoming Batman movie. The director has lived up to his vision and expertise of delivering a gripping, psychological thriller instead of a conventional superhero film.
The runtime of his upcoming project The Batman has been revealed- it’s a massive 2 hours 55 minutes! Initially, the movie was believed to have a runtime of 2 hours 47 minutes.
However, Warner Bros has officially confirmed a heftier duration of nearly 3 hours with an extra 8 minutes of credit.
The Batman gets a PG rating
Apart from the runtime, another news has been revealed this week that Matt Reeves’ Batman has received a PG-13 rating. Even though it’s true the film contains some disturbing visuals, strong language, drug abuse and some suggestive scenes, the internet was not very pleased .
However, it’s worth mentioning that Nolan’s trilogy maintained a PG-13 rating throughout the series so this aspect should not suggest any major concern.
Batman movie has killer reviews already!
Cast member Andy Serkis, is all praise for Reeve’s upcoming project. The actor said that it felt great to be reunited with Reeves, Dylan Clark and Dan Lemmon. He further added that the team had a great time making this movie and once it arrives on the screen, it will be another of Reeve’s masterpieces.
