Thanks to Walmart : now watch Black Panther, LEGO, Batman, E.T., and more movies through their free drive in movie screenings!

Walmart will be screening Black Panther, LEGO Batman, E.T., among others

Missing the times when you were able to go for movies as you pleased? Don’t worry, because Walmart will be partnering with Tribeca Film Festival to host Walmart Drive-in, where they will be showing a bunch of movie screenings across the States.

Some of the movies will be Black Panther, E.T., and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Additionally, celebrities like Drew Barrymore, LeBron James, and Jennifer Garner will be making a real, or virtual visit to any of the screenings.

Screening details

Tribeca has had many such successful drive-in series, and the current campaign will be featured in 160 Walmart stores in the country. Walmart will be turning their parking lots into outdoor cinemas from August 14 to October 21, and will be showing 320 hit movies.

And before showing the featured movies, they will also show some short films like Bilby, Bird Karma, Brooklyn Breeze, CROW: The Legend, Fire in Cardboard City, INVASION!, Looney Tunes’ Boo! Appetweet, and Marooned. 

Filmmakers and other celebrities will be helping Walmart to bring the movies to the audience during this event. Barrymore will be the virtual host for all the events, and will welcome the guests for a fun, but safe and socially-distanced night out. She will also be making a surprise in-person appearance in any one location.

Walmart’s chief customer officer Janey Whiteside said that they wanted to to create something for families so that they can create new memories while not worrying about the challenges everyone is currently facing. In short, this is a brilliant idea and it will surely please many customers.
