The singer who now lives in London with her current boyfriend, Joe Alwyn says that Harvey Weinstein who is set to be produced in court in September for a case on sexual assault had asked her to write in 2013 for the film, One Chance.

This opportunity gained her a Golden Globe nomination. Harvey had also attended the launch party of Taylor’s album ‘1989’ and also gave her a supporting role in the film “The Giver” a sci-fi flick.

Taylor in the interview said he would call her management and ask if she could write a song for his film and the very next moment, she was in the nomination of Golden Globe.

She said that she used to “get a vibe” and would never vouch for Harvey Weinstein.

She said that if you listen to the stories, it was the vulnerable people whom he picked. “It seemed like it was a power thing. So, to me, that doesn’t say anything – that I wasn’t in that situation,” said the singer during her interview.

She said that he had never personally caused any harm to her but she believed all the women who came upfront and told the truth.

The topic of sexual assault is very relatable to Swift as she has been a victim of the horrifying thing back in 2013. While at Pepsi Centre in Colorado, she was groped by DJ David Muller at her back. She sued Muller and won the case in August 2017.
