The K-pop girl group, STAYC is preparing hard for their comeback. HIGHUP Entertainment recently announced that the group is currently working on their new album. They are preparing to release the album in February. The company will announce the specifics later.

STAYC debuted in November of 2020 with their hit single ‘So Bad’ from their very first album ‘Star to a Young Culture’. After their first single album, they released another single album ‘STAYDOM’ in April of 2021 with the lead single “ASAP”.

The Journey From Stereotype to the New Album

STAYC is making a comeback after their hit single ‘Stereotype’ from their first mini album of the same name. They will be coming back after 5 months with “upgraded music”, as per their entertainment company HIGHUP. The group comprises of 6 members ieun, Seeun, Sumin, J, Isa and Yoon.

They previously disclosed that the single ‘Stereotype’ was written even before they debuted. Se-eun, the main vocalist in an interview, said that the road ahead of her trainee days was both tough and uncertain. She also said that song helped her through hard times owing to it’s cheeriness and comforted her.

STAYC and the Swiths

STAYC has fans, who they call ‘Swith’ all across the globe and all their fans shower them with their love and support. The group earned a Seoul Music Award for Best Performance and a Golden Disc Awards. for a digital bonsang for “ASAP”, earlier this year. The announcement of their comeback has left all the Swiths sitting at the edge of their seats.

The February comeback will be worth the wait considering the music and performances STAYC has given us before. Their management company is yet to reveal the exact date for the comeback and will probably release it in the coming weeks.
