Star Wars has delayed the release of Episode IX and will the anticipation of fans pay off?

It is safe to say that Star Wars Episode IX is one of the most anticipated films this year and the eagerness is far more for this film since Episode IX is going to end the Skywalker series that has been going on and on for a long time.
There is comparatively less information that was revealed to anticipate much from the sequel of the Final Jedi.

Initially, the film was supposed to be released in the summer of 2019 but was delayed on the account of various reasons and is expected to be released on 19th December 2019 in the UK. There has been a subsequent wait of 19 months for the next Star Wars movie to be released since Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Disney has confirmed that the title of the film of Star Wars Episode IX is going to be “The Rise of Skywalker” in Chicago during the Star Wars Celebration.
It is still a mystery as to who the title refers to and the audience has to wait another two months to figure that out.

A few theories speculate that Skywalker is going to become another title just like “Jedi” and “Sith” have turned out in the past. A few other theories suggest that Rey is indeed a Skywalker and that Kylo might just be pushing a little harder.

The trailer of the film starts with the booming voice of Luke Skywalker and that reveals that this the end of the Skywalker saga. The trailer reveals an incredible package of hints and callbacks but nonetheless, the biggest reveal is saved for the last.

The Emperor is going to return to “The Rise of Skywalker”. As per what the trailer reveals, Emperor Palpatine a.k.a Darth Sidious is going to make a come back in the Star Wars Episode IX.
