How Henry Golding is the New Face for Snake Eyes?? How he got in the New G.I. Joe Franchise?

In a new interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Cobra Commander Henry Golding tells us how we can get more G.I. Joe movies in theaters! The actor, who has been seen in Crazy Rich Asians and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, is set to portray the iconic character Snake Eyes in Paramount’s upcoming G.I. Joe movie–and he says that it all starts with getting people excited about the franchise again! “It’s like when you’re reading a book and your favorite chapter is coming up,” Golding said of his approach to playing Snake Eyes while speaking at CinemaCon 2019 on Thursday (April 11). “You know what I mean?”

He also talks about some of his other future projects including playing Robin to Emma Stone’s Batman in the film Birds of Prey.

“I have an audition next week for a new rendition of The Joker,” he said, adding that his favorite superhero is Spider-man because “he’s always getting into trouble.” He also tells us about some other projects on the horizon and what it was like working with Crazy Rich Asians’ Constance Wu.

Golding will star alongside Elisabeth Shue as Lady Jaye, Channing Tatum as Duke, Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock, Jon Moxley (WWE) Cover Girl & Flint—and has been cast in Paramount’s upcoming G.I Joe movie!
