Emilio Delgado Passes Away At the New York City on Thursday
Emilio Delgado, an American television actor who appeared in several films and tv series passed away on 10 March in New York.
Delgado survived by Aram and Lauren, his two children, and his wife Carole Delgado.
The cause of his death reported as myeloma, a blood cancer, with whom he was battling for the past year. As told by his wife to the media.
Industry condoles the death of the legend
The television industry and friends of the actor expressed their deep condolence to the family.
Everybody saddened by his sudden demise. A3 CEO Robert Attermamn said they lost a great talent who bought laugh and joy to children and fans. He further added, his fans would miss him and his left legacy would be followed by everyone.
Sesame Workshop released a statement saying, they lost a family member, and his humor and warmth always remembered by children and his fans.
Delgado also awarded as the record be raking character of longest-running role in a Mexican-American Tv series.
He’s an integral part of childhood
Delgado is popularly known for his character in the children’s popular show Sesame Street, where he played the character of the owner of fix-it shops, repairing objects like toasters and photo frames. Along with him, Sonia Manzano who appeared on the same sho as Luis also worked with him for several years, and eventually married.
He worked with the Sesame Street for the past 44 years and widely recognized for his role by children.
The actor also appeared in several movies and tv series. Including I will fight no more forever, iGilbert, Street Gang, I am a Big Bird, A Case of You.
