Scarlett Johansson again tops the Forbes list of highest paid actresses in the world.

This year belongs to the black widow with her latest film, Avengers Endgame doing a business of $2.8 billion. However, Scarlett got an impressive back end payment of about $35 million. She also got a hefty 8 figure check for her new film Black Widow releasing next year. So it’s not so hard to assume why she has again topped the Forbes list of highest-paid actresses like last year.

Scarlett Johansson topped the Forbes highest-paid actresses by earning $56 million from 1st June 2018 to1st June 2019. The second actress on the list is Sofia Vergara, with an earning of $44.1 million. However, the other actresses on the list are nowhere close to these two. The last on the top 10 list is Ellen Pompeo with $22 million earning way behind Scarlett.

Male dominance in the industry:
According to the Forbes magazine, the earning of world’s highest-paid actresses combine to a total of $314.6 million way less than the top-earning actors with a total of $588.3 million. Dwayne Johnson top’s that list with a whooping earning of $89.4 million.

Scarlett Johansson’s views on male dominance:
Scarlett has always been that actress who loves to compete with her male peers in terms of earning. In an interview in 2016, Scarlett stated about the problem, that actresses are, paid much less than their male counterparts. She also added that she is fortunate that she is making such a good living.
