Warning: Contains spoilers for Scarlet Witch #9!! The Avengers are unquestionably the most respected team in the Marvel Universe, often combining tactical genius, physical strength, magic, and more to face the universe’s most daunting threats. Yet, even among literal gods, the Scarlet Witch continues to prove that she is Marvel’s most powerful hero. The ability to twist the universe to her will sits at her fingertips, and that’s only the beginning.

Preview images for the upcoming Scarlet Witch #9 – written by Steve Orlando, with art by Jacopo Camagni – show Wanda sounding the alarm that her vault has been breached. While that would worry anyone housing something dangerous, it also offers a glimpse at the sheer power at her disposal, both from her innate magical talents and the tomes and trinkets she possesses.

The Scarlet Witch has undergone a strenuous journey to understand herself and her magic, and it’s been unimaginably lucrative. She is now the Living Darkhold and has confirmed that her vault is one of the most dangerous rooms in the world.

Scarlet Witch Combines Her Incredible Magical Power With The Marvel Universe’s Most Dangerous Artifacts

Scarlet Witch #9 – Written By Steve Orlando; Art By Jacopo Camagni; Color By Frank William; Lettering By Ariana Maher The Scarlet Witch’s path has been long and winding, and her current mastery level is hard-earned. She’s lost control of her powers (and her mind) to the tune of millions of deaths and a broken world, and she has spent years soul-searching and learning everything possible about her magic.

As a result, she now either embodies or collects the universe’s most powerful magic. Wanda became the Living Darkhold after trapping and fusing with the god Chthon, allowing her to tap into that ancient magical power if a situation is dire enough to merit the risk it comes with.

Wanda has become a guardian, moved beyond basic needs like sleep, and the combination of her chaos magic and the contents of her vault make her limitless in every way that matters. Wanda confirms that her magic is only a fraction of what she can call upon: her vault houses a library able to “rewrite the stars,” gravel from the original Darkhold, and magical tokens and artifacts taken from entirely different realms.

The Only Thing That Has Ever Held Scarlet Witch Back From Becoming Marvel’s Strongest Character Has Been Herself

While other incomprehensibly powerful characters, such as X-Men’s Jean Grey, tackle problems on a cosmic level, Scarlet Witch has taken a different approach. Rather than flaunt her magical talents, she’s focused on control and protection.

Wanda knows the cost of losing grip on her abilities, and the effect would be even more devastating now. Consequently, she offers only glimpses of what she can do, yet her most conservative uses of magic are still staggering.

As an Avenger, Scarlet Witch holds herself back for everyone else’s protection, but the power to destroy or rewrite the universe is still hers to command.

Reed Richards: The Dark Side of a Marvel Hero

There’s no denying that Reed Richards is one of the kindest and most helpful characters on Earth. Granted, he’s a little weird and his stretchy powers can be pretty freaky, but at the end of the day Reed Richards is a bonafide hero.

However, there’s something about him that I’ve never been able to get over. While there are always evil versions of characters in the Multiverse, Reed has been pretty consistently evil.

There have been several alternate universes where Mister Fantastic became a villain and often aided in the downfall of his world. It’s a pretty strange thing to see, considering Mister Fantastic is such a hero in the 616 universe.

Reed Richards Helped Accelerate Marvel’s Zombie Infection

During the events of Marvel Zombies: Dead Days, a terrifying infection broke loose on Earth. Anyone who came into contact with the virus was immediately transformed into a bloodthirsty zombie, but they retained all of their intelligence.

This meant that superpowered zombies were practically impossible, as they still had full control over their powers and knowledge. Naturally, the world’s greatest minds immediately started looking for a cure, but not Reed Richards.

Instead, he became obsessed with studying the zombies directly. Related Marvel Zombies Officially Assembles the Darkest Avengers Team Yet Even in death, the Avengers have better camaraderie, cohesion, and teamwork as a unit than most active (or living) super-teams in the Marvel Universe.

While studying the zombies, Reed’s mind broke. I think it was most likely due to the death of his children, but Reed clearly went insane. Instead of helping to find a cure for this zombie infection, Reed ended up believing that zombies were the next level of human evolution.

He then used his scientific knowledge to extract the virus from the zombie he was studying and used it to infect The Fantastic Four.

Because of Reed Richards, Nick Fury and Iron Man were killed shortly after when the zombified Fantastic Four attacked them.

This Wolverine & Deadpool Cosplay Battle Absolutely Raises The Bar For Cosplaying These Iconic Characters

Filmed By @quinton_wong, Edited By @etleung9394, Sound By @tonyjax7 Wolverine and Deadpool are some of the most popular characters for cosplayers, and there are countless examples of fantastic cosplay builds representing the many different looks the heroes have sported over the years.

However, I’m hard-pressed to say that I have seen a cosplay that more strikingly captures more than just their aesthetics, but their acrobatic fighting abilities, the way the Wolverine vs. Deadpool fight scene shared by @ansonbean manages to do.

The scene – which had a crew of over half a dozen people working behind the scenes to make it happen – is a major achievement.

Why Do Fans Love To Watch Deadpool And Wolverine Battle It Out So Much?

One of the major aspects of Wolverine and Deadpool are their absurd healing factors. When two heroes fight each other, you can’t really have them go too crazy with it. I don’t think anyone would be happy if Captain America broke Spider-Man’s arm during a scuffle.

It’s just not a level of violence that’s really appropriate. However, that isn’t the case with Deadpool and Wolverine. These two characters have ridiculous healing factors and can regenerate from almost any wound inflicted on them.

Because of this, Wolverine and Deadpool can maim each other as much as they want.

Conclusion

In conclusion, our article has made a compelling case for the notion that a certain Avengers member stands as the most powerful hero in the Marvel universe. By examining the character’s impressive feats, abilities, and accomplishments, we have demonstrated that this individual consistently outperforms their peers in terms of sheer power and potential.

The significance of this conclusion cannot be overstated, as it challenges the prevailing narrative that the likes of Thor and the Hulk are the most powerful beings in the Marvel universe. Instead, our analysis reveals that this often-overlooked hero has been quietly amassing a resume of incredible feats, from manipulating reality to wielding god-like abilities. This realization has far-reaching implications for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as it could lead to a reevaluation of the hierarchy of power within the franchise.

As we look to the future, it will be fascinating to see how this revelation is incorporated into future Marvel storytelling. Will this hero be given the recognition they deserve, or will they continue to be relegated to the background? One thing is certain, however: the Marvel universe will never be the same once we acknowledge that this Avengers member is, in fact, the most powerful hero of all time.
