Yet another Riverdale spin-off is to drop soon and it’s not like anything fans are used to seeing in the Archie-verse. Katy Keene is the next comic which is presently in production stage and is soon going to launch on Television. As of now we don’t know much, but we surely can read through the hints that have been released already.

It’s less than a month for the show’s midseason to premiere but until this moment the fate of the show was hanging by the thread. Now we know for sure that fans will be getting a full first season of the Riverdale spin-off as it was just recently made official by The CW that it is ordering 13 additional episodes of the comedy drama.
It’s still pretty unclear what it means exactly, but nevertheless it guarantees that we are going to get more of Josie and Katy’s NYC adventures than originally expected.
Cast
Apart from Ashleigh Murray, who will be making the big move to NYC as Josie for Katy Keene, there’s is one more character that will be joining.
Some new stars are also joining the cast, which includes Camille Hyde who will be playing Alexandra Cabot.
Plot
The story of Katy Keene typically follows Katy and her friends making the most of their time in New York City while they work hard to make their dreams come to life. Katy and her friends will try to become the next big thing, runway, and music stars in this musical spin-off.
Release Date
The show is currently scheduled to air on The CW Network between Fall 2019 and Summer 2020. Since it hasn’t officially been announced yet for a full season, only time is going to tell us if we will actually get to watch the show.
