In a recent update about Rami Malek, Us Weekly reported that the actor while accepting one of his awards called Lucy Boynton as “my love”. This implies that both of them have been dating in real life even though the couple didn’t have a stabilized relation on-screen.
“I’m just really honored to be here,” Malek said at the 30th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival’s Film Awards Gala on Thursday. Thanking Lucy, he also said, “You have been my ally, my confidant, my love. Thank you so much.”
The speech was given by the actor when he received the Breakthrough Performance Award for his role in Bohemian Rhapsody as Mercury. The couple can be expected to see together for other awards show as Bohemian Rhapsody has also been nominated for Best Motion Picture.
The couple met on the set of Bohemian Rhapsody last year since the shooting of the film. Though the couple keeps their relationship status private, the speech by Rami Malek has revealed a lot. The couple doesn’t even post about each other on Instagram.
The two were also seen in London as well as Los Angeles. They were seen sharing a kiss in Los Angeles. Not only this, but both of them also went to a concert last May. This clearly shows that they may not be active on social media about their love, but they aren’t either hiding anything from their fans.
Rami Malek reportedly dated another costar before Lucy. He was dating Portia Doubleday who starred with him in Mr. Robot and broke up in 2017.
