The latest “Raging Fire” trailer contends Donnie Yen against Nicholas Tse

Raging Fire gets yet another official trailer featuring Donnie Yen and Nicholas Tse. Earlier today (October 2), the martial arts streaming channel Hi-YAH unveiled a new trailer of the action-packed thriller movie on its official Youtube channel. Further, it announced the film’s release on October 22, exclusively on Hi-YAH. Raging Fire will be the final movie from the glorious Hong Kong film director, producer, and screenwriter Benny Chan.

Raging Fire: New Trailer

The movie leads, Donnie Yen and Nicholas Tse, were previously seen in the 2006 film Dragon Tiger Gate. Now, years later, once again, the duo is seen together in Raging Fire. However, the new trailer gives a sneak peek of the once upon a time friends set against each other. Surely, this makes the duo’s fans excited to see their on-screen reunion as rivals.

In fact, in an interview, Donnie Yen claimed the same. He stated that he thinks most audiences are also very excited about Nic and him fighting up a storm. Meanwhile, Nicholas Tse said that working with Donnie this time, he feels that they have both become more mature.

 

Plot

In Raging Fire, Donnie Yen(Ip Man franchise) plays the role of a highly respected police officer, Bong. But, unexpectedly, his past comes back to beset him during a battle with a group of criminals led by one of his former trainees Ngo. Nicholas Tse (New Police Story) will play Ngo, a talented officer who had admired and respected Bong. However, a terrible mistake made a few years ago lands him in prison, turning him into a raging man with exasperation. Eventually, he embarks on a mission to crush everyone who has wronged him, including the man he once respected.

Apart from the legendary martial-arts actors, Yen, and Tse, Raging Fire film stars Ray Lui appears in a special cameo as Inspector Yiu, Bong’s friend.

The film will premiere on martial arts streaming service Hi-YAH on October 22. Following the release on Hi-YAH, it will hit Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital on November 23.
