Pete Davidson skips this week’s ‘SNL’ episode

American comedian Pete Davidson announced not to appear in this week’s ‘SNL’ broadcast. He planned to spend the time with James DeMonaco’s ‘The Home’ production. In addition, it is circulating that for this week’s SNL episode, comedian John Mulani will host the show.

This American stand-up comedian is already famous as writer on SNL for four seasons since 2018. It is one the most watched show on TV. Since the joining of Davidson in 2014, he came into the limelight. Rolling from special appearances on “Weekend Update” to recreating figures like former New York governor Andrew Cuomo and Disney’s Aladdin, he made the show run successfully with most views.

Davidson’s reason for leave

Recently, to finish the compiled works of the Miramax horror movie “The Home”, he asked for leave. However, at first, the spokesperson for ‘SNL’ could not confirm about it as the whole crew and cast was already ready for the episode at NBC’s New York headquarters, Studio 8H, as part of the series’ ritual. As per executive producer Lorne Michael’s new rules, Davidson decided to take leave to complete the movie production. In addition, Michael is now allowing the casts to take some gaps to cover other productions and pursue more opportunities to excel.
