Netflix recently announced that it will soon come up with a new animation show whose name is, Over The Moon. The show will be brought to us by the collaborative efforts of Pearl Studio and Netflix. It is basically a musical animated show. Animation veteran Glen Keane is the director of Over the Moon whereas it is penned by late Audry Wells and Jennifer Yee McDevitt. Unfortunately, Wells died while he was working on the script in 2018 so Jennifer was chosen to complete it.
Some other popular works of director Glen Keane are Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled and The little Mermaid.

Netflix informed about release date of Over the Moon through its official Twitter handle. So Over the Moon will release on 23 October, 2020.
What about the storyline of Over the Moon?
A teenager Fei Fei gets inspired by the story of the moon goddess getting trapped there and thus, in an attempt to meet her, she makes her own rocket ship. She also plans to take her rabbit and stowaway chin along with her. They get to an awesome mythical place and there begins the search for the moon goddess.

According to the reports, it’ll have a total of eight songs. One of these eight songs is Rock to Moon which is sung by Cathy Ang.
