It feels like it’s been decades since we last saw Claire, Jamie, Brianne, and roger, though it’s been only a few months the most awaited season 5 of Outlander is about to hit the television by February 16, 2020.
At SYF wire, the stars spoke about the new season of Outlander. Luckily, the actors of the hit series were quick enough to share details about what’s coming in the upcoming season 5 for their eagerly waiting fans.
Caitriona Balfe playing the character of Claire Fraser revealed an “unfortunate” thing about the season saying that Native American culture featured in season 5 will not be as much as it was in season 4. Unfortunately, this season wouldn’t have as many rich and beautiful elements that were there in the previous seasons. The historic elements added different specialty and cool element to the show.
She added, she felt good to be able to tell the specific much unknown period of American history through the series. Sam Hughes, who plays Jamie Fraser, agreed too with her co-star about the sentiments. According to him, playing the Native American part was fun and exciting. He also praised the fantastic cast which came over from Canada with all their aesthetic culture, which is one of the fascinating things which added life to the show.
Hughes also commented about the new season focusing mainly on family issues, being stronger and together at bad times when things tear apart due to different factors.
Season 5 will likely be based mostly on the book 5 and 6 of outlander series, The Fiery Cross and A Breath of Snow and Ashes. Stars released a “coming soon” short teaser of the upcoming show, which projects a few seconds footage from season 5 of Outlander.
It can be presumed about the season consisting more of challenges characters would face based on their decisions. It could also be that they might travel back to their old times, searching for the good to come.
