Outlander season 5 is in production, and the cast and crew are working hard at bringing us with Outlander Season 5; however, it will not be launched on Netflix but will return to Starz and Amazon Prime in early 2020.

The Story of Outlander revolves around the time of World War II. The first episode of Outlander shows Claire Randall (Caitriona Bale) and her husband, Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies) were on their second honeymoon visiting Inverness, Scotland when she is carried back into the time of 18th century from the standing stones at Craigh na Dun as we all know.

Before watchers even got to meet red-haired Jamie (Sam Heughan), the character was spotted, outside the very inn where Claire and Frank were staying, which made the story more Mysterious.

Instantly spotting the mysterious figure, Frank wanted to confront Jamie, but he disappeared before Frank could find meet him.

In this particular scene, frank was shocked to see Jamie, a man wearing typical clothing for the time, including leather boots, a kilt, satchel, coat and a tam (Scottish cap), getting evaporated in a supernatural moment. The bathroom light flickered, and the mystery has remained ever since.

Trying to understand the strange occurrence, Frank told his wife the full story and trying to speculate what actually happened.

Fans eventually theorized it could have been Jamie’s ghost, and author Diana Gabaldon has since confirmed the truth.

On her official website, the novelist said: “The ghost is Jamie–but as for how it fits into the story, All Will Be Explained–in the last book.” She later told a fan on Twitter the truth would be explained in “Book 9 and Book 10, and the ghost will be the last thing in Book 10”.

But, season 5 is way before book 9, it outing of the show is thought to follow the plot of the 5th book of Diana Gabaldon’s novels, The Fiery Cross. Season 5 will launch in early 2020 after its release date was pushed back from 2019.
