Who made the movie and why?

Werner Herzog was a close friend of Bruce Chatwin. Chatwin was suffering from HIV-AIDS and lately died at the age of 48 because of that. When Herzog visited Chatwin for the last time, he got inspired by Chatwin’s life and decided to make a documentary on his travel history.

Finally, 30 years after that, Herzog was out with a movie about his close friend’s travel journey in a movie named Nomad.

What is the movie depicting?

Chatwin was fond of travelling around to places. The title of the trailer is apt by calling him a nomad, the reason being that he used to travel to places to capture their cultures and interact with the nature and discover the realms of the nature. Herzog wanted to show not the nature’s beauty or the biographical existence in the world, but rather the nature to human co-existence and wildlife etc.
