It seems like Broadway actor Nick Cordero is recovering after having his right leg amputated following the complications with coronavirus. His wife said the same issuing a statement.

The Tony Award-nominated star is one of the sufferers and has been battling with coronavirus for more than two weeks. His wife, Amanda Kloots, however, has kept fans informed by sharing updates on the actor’s health on her Instagram.
The actor has been kept sedated in the intensive unit and soon started having clotting issues on his right leg, and could not get blood down to his toes. Moreover, the blood thinners he got to fix the clotting issues were rather affecting his blood pressure and causing internal bleeding in his intestines.
The Actor’s Wife Is Keeping Fans Updated On The Surgery That Went Well.
The blood thinners are causing him issue which cannot be recovered in any way, his wife later informed that the actor is getting his right leg amputated in order the recover from the issues created by the blood thinners.
Moreover, Nick’s wife started the hashtag #wakeupnick on Instagram and urged fans to send her videos of them dancing and encouraging him to wake up. Later on Saturday, Kloots shared an update that his surgery had gone well. She further added that it is really big that he made it through the surgery considering his body is pretty weak at this point.
