Netflix’s ‘Miss Americana’ Showcases The Normal and Real Life of Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift’s ‘Miss Americana’ is now streaming on Netflix. The documentary is an accurate and thoughtful presentation of the young singer as it underlines capabilities, her struggles, and her life.

Perhaps, the biggest disadvantages of being a celebrity are to have everything in public. From dates to meetups to personal life; everything is out there for people to scrutinize. A celebrity which can be a role model at once and at the other time the bad idol. For some, the life of a celebrity is full of glamour but behind that persist many pains and struggle.

In an interview certainly most of the celebrities get frightened when they are asked about their past or what it’s like to feel the constant adoration of a fan base. Most of them still doing believe the diva the superstar Taylor Swift has been a victim. The film is directed by Lana Wilson and takes its title from ‘Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince.’

The film covers Swift’s entire life especially the recent events including a political awakening basically by an incident in 2013, in which she was sexually assaulted at a meet by a radio D.J.

Mostly the smarter celebrities or some superstars usually portray themselves as an accidental hero. However, “Miss Americana” basically portray what she is capable of and how life and society expect her to be.

Taylor Swift is known for her perfect persona, young, white and pretty. She has always been favoured because of her personality but her family background was far more different to what she is today. It was her determination and her family support which made her carrier’s graph to elevate.

Miss Americana portrays her as a normal person, reflects upon her career, her temptation, and the obstacles she had to face as a woman that included gender disparity and sexual assault. Her life unfolded on an unprecedented scale which is exactly depicted in this documentary.
