Since the Ghost Bride is a Netflix original series, the series will be good for streaming despite its Malaysian and Taiwanese origin. The series has a romantic yet horrific plot to it. It has good cinematography with American sensibility in the show.
Moreover, the novel was written by a Harvard educated Malaysian Chinese and it was also a New York Times bestseller. The writer of the series has also written for series The Hannibal and The Flash.
In addition to it, the Ghost Bride is not given long speeches or penetrating her with traditions like many Southeast Asian series. The writer is telling a well fleshed out intriguing story even though the setting is historical which will attract the audience more. The series has all the things mixed in its adventure, romance, mystery, and suspense.
