Netflix releases Ozark Season 4 Part 2 teaser and release date- check for all details

Ozark Season 4 Part 2 trailer is out

On Wednesday, Netflix released the date announcement teaser for Ozark Season 4 Part 2. The last 7 episodes of the final season will be available for streaming on the renowned OTT platform on April 29 2022. The release date came much sooner than the audience expected as it’s a mere 3 months since the debut of Part 1 on January 21 this year.

Netflix has really done a favour for the fans who were waiting desperately to watch how the end turns out for the Byrde family.

What do we see in the new trailer?

Ozark’s Season 4 Part 2 trailer focuses majorly on Ruth. But of course, that’s not really surprising since Season 4 Part 1 ended with her cousin Wyatt Langmore and Darlene’s death. And now that Ruth has lost the person closest to her, part 2 can pick up exactly from that point- her revenge on Javi.

Even though it was a short teaser, you can actually witness Ruth’s helplessness as she is set on her journey of pain and endurance and most impotantly, vengeance.

Ozark’s showrunner opens up about the final season

Chris Mundy revealed that Part 2 of season 4 will provide the closure to Marty and Wendy Byrde’s fraudulent plans with business partner Ruth. The drama series producer added that he always wants closure and he wants the audience to get that when they reach the end of the series.

Referring to the tone of the series, Mundy commented that they are diving deep into the family and their bonds. He wants to explore what can be considered the ultimate bond, whether it’s family, friendship, marriage or something beyond that.

Chris said in conclusion that he hopes the second half of the end will still be fun and exciting for the viewers. However, it will also be very emotional for Ruth and the Byrdes at the same time.
