The man was nothing less than a legend with beautiful and artistic works credited in his name. His creation were surely one of a kind. His absence will be felt.

The man of music became a household name after the overwhelming success of his 1962 tune Alley Cat. His family confirmed the sad news of his demise, he was fighting with cancer for a while.

Alley Cat still remains to be one of his biggest achievements with winning the Grammy Award back in 1962 under the category of Best Instrumental. This is not all as the album on which the instrumental featured went on to sell over as many as1 million copies!

Apart from winning the prestigious Grammy awards, the musical legend went on to be honored with a lifetime achievement award in 2017 from the HARPA Nordic Film Composers. We all will surely miss such a gifted artist who is now in a better place.
