Willie Nelson cuts short his summer-fall tour citing ‘breathing problems.’
The distinguished 86-year-old country music artist, Willie Nelson, canceled his trip due to a breathing problem. The singer updated and apologized to his fans for abruptly dropping the remainder of his summer-fall tour 2019.
To my fans,
I’m sorry to cancel my tour, but I have a breathing problem that I need to have my doctor check out.
I’ll be back
Love,
Willie— Willie Nelson (@WillieNelson) August 8, 2019
The tour that started on 1st August had Nelson completing his performance in Toledo, Ohio with Alison Krauss, and he was scheduled to play on Friday in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His fans in Michigan were desperately waiting to see this finest artist performing on stage for them when he tweeted about his ill-health and inability to complete the remainder of the tour.
This isn’t the first time that the singer has canceled his concerts, he has been keeping ill for some time now. He had pulled the plug on several tour dates at the beginning of 2018 as well. He was to appear at the Outlaw Music Festival, which he had to drop due to health issues. And he had midway halted Salt Lake City concert due to respiratory problems.
The tour was scheduled for around 30 more shows with a stop at the Farm Aid concert on 21st September, and it was supposed to get concluded on 29th November in Oklahoma. This news has come as a bummer for everyone who was looking forward to the concerts and had their tickets booked.
We wish a speedy recovery to Willie Nelson. Hopefully, he would be able to come up with something for his fans after recovering completely.
