Spanish thriller ‘La Casa De Papel’ aka ‘Money Heist’ season 4 left fans disappointed and eagerly waiting for the next season. One cannot help but laud the makers of the world’s latest obsession “Money Heist” especially in times of the lockdown, the eye grabbing series has come to the rescue of many by killing boredom.
La Casa De Papel is a famous Spanish thriller, written and directed by Álex Pina. It has become one of the most watched shows on Netflix ever since it landed on the streaming giant.
The cast is led by The Professor (Álvaro Morte) and his criminal ensemble, each named after a city. Rio (Miguel Herrán), Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó), Helsinki (Darko Perić), Nairobi (Alba Flores), Denver (Jaime Lorente), Stockholm (Esther Acebo) and the famous inspector Raquel (Itziar Ituño).
Part three of Le Casa de Papel made headlines all around the world last year for its captivating storyline and brilliantly engaging cast. The audience was however, shattered when one of the prominent members of the criminal ensemble, Nairobi, was shot down. Sergio and his team resorted to violence after having begun to crumble under pressure.
The chaos of the script, the new characters and the plot twists, got a little too overwhelming to keep up with. There were also some narrative loopholes that you can’t shut your eyes to.
Money Heist season four leaves you disappointed. The season has been dragged a bit as many fans rightly feel that the series got swayed away from the heist. There will be times when you will feel this season has been dragged a bit, and you won’t be wrong. The makers, however left the with yet another cliffhanger.
So season 5 of the show is likely to be the next big thing, that the world will be hooked on to. We’ll have to wait a year or two to know how the Professor pulls off the biggest heist in history.
