Model Helena Christensen’s son Mingus recently turned 20, and Helena shared a few pictures of her son. And we can’t help but notice the resemblance between the two. It seems the model DNA really ran deep, and he inherited some of his mother’s noticeable traits. But that said, it’s also worth mentioning that he also looks like his father Norman Reedus from Walking Dead. But with each passing year, Mingus is starting to look more and more similar to his mother.
Christensen shared ten pictures on her Instagram for her son’s birthday. The pictures range from Mingus’s childhood to his present days. She captioned the picture saying it was a beautiful day because Mingus was born on that day 20 years ago. She added, “Love you so much” at the end. Normal also uploaded a few pictures of his son on his birthday. The pictures featured Mingus in his earlier years. The father captioned the pictures as “Happy birthday to the coolest of all time.” Such an adorable, proud dad!
Helena, Norman, Mingus, Norman’s current partner Diane Kruger is the perfect example of a big happy modern family. Normal and Diane share a daughter who is Mingus’s half-sister. Reedus and Kruger both commented on a string of heart emojis on Helena’s post. Helena also wrote that her baby boy is a young man, and she loves him more than anything. It’s plain warmth and happiness all around! And it seems Mingus is one lucky kid to get such a heartwarming family.
And we aren’t the only ones who noticed the resemblance between the mother-son duo. Many friends and fans commented on this. One said he was the exact portrait of his mother. Another wrote, “OMG, TWINS.” The genes of the family fascinated the fans. One fan wrote it is sure that Mingus is his mother’s son, and it was like Helena was reborn as a boy. Another one marveled over their DNA. One fan even said Mingus looked like Helena’s father. Others commented that Mingus would become a world-famous model like his mother someday.
