The 42-year-old actor dreamed of being Batman in the upcoming part of the series of movies. Milo Ventimiglia when told the Warner Bros producer that he wanted to play Batman, but was told that he is too old for the role of Batman. The “This Is Us” star hit the “Morning Mash-Up” on SiriusXM to promote his new movie “The Art of Racing in The Rain” and instead got into playing heroes.

He admitted that he was too old for the role but being optimistic stated that there a plenty of roles out there and he wouldn’t need a cape to be a superhero. He liked the heroic character of Jack Pearson on “This is us.” The actor being rejected does not have grudges and told that he is already busy with his stuff. For now on, he would try again for more heroic characters to do. He would now be more into realistic hero’s roles and would love to play those roles.

This time, Robert Pattinson would be the batman and Ventimiglia is fine with that, he expressed his excitement to see Robert in the movie. As for now looking in the past few years of the role of batman, 1989 batman was played by Michael Keaton at the age of 38, Val Kilmer was 36 when he played batman in 1996, 1997 batman was 36 years old George Clooney, Christian Bale was 31 in 2005 and for the oldest Ben Affleck was 44 playing batman.

The movie, Batman would have Robert Pattinson, 33 to cast as Bruce Wayne famous by the name batman after a series of screen tests done in May previously this year. And the movie would be directed by Matt Reeves who has a hand in the making of the Planet of the Apes franchise.
