‘Magic Mike’s Last dance’: Soderbergh discusses the new Plot
Steven Soderbergh and Zoe Kravtiz’s upcoming movie “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” would be the third movie in the franchise. During a conference, the makers of the hit movie revealed a new plot of the third movie. Soderbergh disclosed the new movie will have a plot around Mike’s relationship. Moreover, Channing Tatum’s past has inspired a part of the movie!
The movie’s Success
Magic Mike was released in 2012 and was a big hit back then. The audience greatly appreciated the movie’s sex appeal, direction, and dance. The Soderbergh-directed movie starred Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, and Joe Manganiello.
Moreover, the movie returned with a sequel in 2015 named Magic Mike XXL. Eventually, Gregory Jacobs directed the sequel after assisting in the first movie. The sequel of the movie won hearts again!
The Director’s Eagerness
Soderbergh has always been sure about the movie. The director even asked Channing Tatum to specifically focus on this movie when it was just an idea. Interestingly, Channing Tatum originally pitched the idea and the director caught it just in time. He said that he was very excited about working on the movie and making it a reality. His dedication indeed speaks volumes about the movie’s success.
The Magic Mike series is set for the finale. The Director said that he always knew the movie would be a success, but he was unaware of Tatum’s ideas. Moreover, the director explained how Tatum was interested in expanding the Last Dance into concepts of relationship, respect, and masculinity.
The Last Dance will not only take the series to another level, but it is also going to dive deep. The finale will centre around Mike’s relationship and much more. The fans just have to wait now.
