Lucifer Season 5: A Sense of Relief for the Fans as the Show is Set to Launch its Season 5

What happens when you like a series and there happens to be an end to it? Suppose the creators of the show think that the series needs to be ended and the fans are made aware of it. How would your reaction be to it? well i would surely pray dor the renewal of the series. That’s what happened with Lucifer. fans started a trend on social media, requesting for the renewal of the 5th season and that’s what’s happening.

Yes, you heard me right. the fifth season is set to be released.

After FOX refused to purchase the three seasons, Netflix came to the rescue of the fans. It bought all the seasons and so will it this time. The series hasn’t come to an end yet. it will be renewed. the series hasn’t come to an end yet. Not all the previous seasons, but the 4th one is still premiered with Netflix from May 2019.

 

After this announcement, fans and the production team took to twitter thanking each other’s support for the continuation of the series.

Expected Team

We know for sure the return of Richard Speight, Jr as the director of the series.

The cast team was also decided at hand. a few of those who confirmed were Erik Aude as Rod and is currently only scheduled to appear in season 1. The team is super excited and is posting their pictures, behind the scenes on their respective social media handles. for example-In December 2019,  a behind the scenes was shot of a beach scene that could be coming up in the season.

By February, the news that the writers had completed scripting the episodes and concluded their part was circulating on the floor.

Release Date

the news say that the release has been postponed until further notice due to the Coronavirus pandemic and will take a while at shooting and hence releasing the show. The show will have nearly 10 episodes in total.
