Krysten Ritter in upcoming HBO Max’s crime series
After Elizabeth Olsen another Marvel fan favourite is going to step on the upcoming HBO Max’ true crime drama mini series “Love and Death”. Yes it has been confirmed that Krysten Ritter will be joining the show alongside the Marvel leading actress Elizabeth Olsen.
Krysten Ritter is a very well known face to the Marvel fans for her lead role in the Netflix series “Jessica Jones”. The actress also played a role in the AMC’ very popular TV show “Breaking Bad” and a show named “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23”.
The actress is currently starring in the new released Netflix movie “Nightbook”. She will next direct four episodes of new Peacock series “The girl in the woods”.
About “Love and Death”
The upcoming crime series is based on a true event which took place in a small town Wylie, Texas. And it’s inspired by a book titled “Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs”. It also took reference from a pair of articles of Texas monthly.
The incident revolves around two churchgoing couples who seems to be friends until the day of 1980, when one of the wives Candy Montgomery murdered the other one Betty Gore with an axe.
In “Love and Death” Sherry Cleckler’s role will be portrayed by Krysten Ritter, while as previous report Elizabeth Olsen will appear as Candy Montgomery. As well as Patrick Fugit will be seen as Pat Montgomery, Jesse Plemons as Allan Gore, Keir Gilchrist as Pastor Ron Adams, Lily Rabe as Betty Gore, Tom Pelphrey as Don Crowder, and Elizabeth Marvel as Pastor Jackie Ponder.
David E. Kelly will be the writer and co-producer of the series who has won multiple “Emmy Awards” for shows like “Boston Legal,” “Ally McBeal,” “Picket Fences,” “L.A. Law,” and “The Practice”.
