Louis Tomlinson in a Recent Interview Says That He Isn’t Closest to Any of The Band Members

Has the band’s hiatus affected Louis Tomlinson’s bond with the band members? Let’s find out.

It has been four years since we last heard One Direction and more than five years since the group of five became a group of four with Zayn Malik’s exit. Fans of ID are still in hope of seeing the group back together, singing, performing and touring; they are waiting for their hiatus to end which doesn’t seem to end anywhere in the near future.

The stars, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne, took the separate routes and are making their individual careers now. But despite their different professional lives, do they catch up personally? Has the hiatus affected the personal bonding between the band members?

Tomlinson took this topic while getting chatty with Cosmopolitan during an interview released on Wednesday. Speaking on behalf of everyone, he said that he thinks all the boys would agree with him that there are moments in their lives where naturally some of them speak to others more than others. “I wouldn’t say I’m closest to any of the boys,” Kill My Mind singer told the magazine.

Talking about himself, he further informed that he has probably spoken to Liam 10 times as much as he must have spoken to other band members, and six months ago it was Niall.

Talking about his debut album ‘Walls’, Louis said that he has got to stand on his two feet and say ‘This is my identity. This is who I am as an artist.’
