The 50-year-old actress joined Instagram on Oct 15th, and not within the day; she broke records within an hour. Her real and reel life friends David Spade, Julia Roberts, Adam Sandler, and ex-husband Justin Theroux welcomed her on the new social media craze. The social media platform temporarily crashed for some time when fans tried to follow her account. The love shown to her by fans, followers, and celebs were heartwarming.
She also managed to make the new Guinness World Records title for the fastest time to reach one million followers on Instagram in five hours and 16 minutes. Earlier it was the royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who managed worldwide attention in such a short period.
She later shared a beautiful selfie with her Friends co-stars, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and Matthew Perry. She captioned the celebration photo by saying, “Now we are Instagram friends too.”
