Locke and Key season 2 is currently available on Netflix, and we all know what that means. So far, interest in Locke and Key season 3 is at an all-time high.
Locke and Key was renewed for season 3 by Netflix in December 2020, months after the season began, and was also renewed for season 2 by Netflix.

The final season of LOCKE & KEY will premiere in 2022
The season began production in the spring of 2021, almost six months before season 2 was released. Season 3 was actually completed a few months before season 2 was released, thanks to the efforts of the cast and crew.
This is fantastic news. By early 2022, Locke and Key season 3 could be available on Netflix. As we previously stated, it is unlikely that this will occur. Seasons on Netflix are frequently separated by about a year. We clearly had to wait around 20 months between seasons 1 and 2, which was due to the epidemic.
Netflix has a jam-packed calendar for early 2022 as well. That means Locke and Key season 3 might get pushed back a little.
We’d love to see Locke & Key season 3 on Netflix in February 2022, but we’ll most likely have to wait at least eight months. Season 3 would be released in July 2022, according to this timeline.
If Netflix wants to preserve Locke and Key as a fall show, the season will have to wait until September or October 2022.

Synopsis for Season 3 of Locke and Key
The events of season 2 will most likely be continued in the new season. The Locke and Key season 2 finale left everyone in tears. Tyler is obviously struggling with Jackie’s death. Scot is off to art school, and Bode is having trouble keeping track of all the magical keys without his mother.
Tyler seemed to seek a world free of magic, but we all know that won’t last long. Something is going to go awry, and he will need to use the Memory Key.
We also know that the first Echo, Captain Frederick Gideon, is free, and you know he’ll go after the Lockes. He’ll most likely assume they’re to blame for his death, and he’ll want vengeance.
We’re in for a big awakening if we thought Dodge/Gabe was horrible.
