The story is written by famous author Ng who grew up in the city of Shaker Heights, Ohio. This city is so common among the people. The story of this is set up in the 1990s and it’s planned and organized very sweetly so that people can understand it. The story begins with a central house on fire. A fire which is suspected to have been the result of arson, because it grew by a small series of Little Fires ignited all around the house.

In the story the home belongs to Richardons, the matriarch of which is Elena. Elena married with Bill and they have three children named Moody, Lexie, Trip and Izzy whom have a good life. Elena has an apartment in that city. Later on she gives that in rent to the mysterious artist Mia Warren and her daughter Pearl. Further, the city divided by the court case so that Mia and Elena lives together in the city.

The series is producing by Reese Witherperson whose production company Hello Sunshine. The Co-producer of the series is Kerry Washington whose production company Simpson Street. The two women is seen in this series with 90’s costumes which has been released on social media. Whiterperson and Washington have been updating it on the filming process throughout 2019 for fans.It has been confirmed that Joshua Jakson will play the role of Elena’s Husband Bill in The series.
