A show revolving around a rural Canadian town of Ontario, Letterkenny has become a hit sitcom. It first aired on YouTube where it caught the attention of Canadian streaming service Crave. From then on, Letterkenny grew in popularity and critical acclaim.
The storyline of the sitcom revolves around the residents of the small-town Letterkenny. They consist of the Hicks or the farming community, the skids or the drug dealers, the local hockey team and the natives or members of the First Nation.
But mainly, the show is about the ups and downs of Wayne. Wayne is also known as the toughest man in the town of Letterkenny. He has a reputation to uphold which he does by fighting off several challengers. Wayne also tries his hand at finding love and works his sister’s love-life at the same time.
Also, Letterkenny follows the losing hockey team and their continuous attempts to score a win. And the drug dealers or the skids keep on trying to salvage everyone in the town.
The show has completed a successful run of six seasons and is due for a seventh. According to sources, the wait might not be too long for the latest installment.

Bought by Hulu for distribution in the US, Letterkenny is slated for an October 14, 2019, release. Each episode will be about thirty minutes long.
