Larry Teng to direct Walker: Independence
According to the report, Larry Teng was confirmed as the director of Walker: Independence. Walker prequel announced earlier this month and now Larry Teng is confirmed to direct its next series.
Teng previously also worked with the CBS studio and worked on a number of series, including NCIS: Los Angeles and Seal Team. Padalecki worked as an executive producer while Seamus Fahey worked on the script.
As the film enters a development, fans can expect it to drop soon. After the announcement of the second series, fans couldn’t contain their excitement to see what the next season would plot.

Walker: The Story of Freedom takes place somewhere in the late 1800s. It is a prequel to The CW series Walker, released in 2021. It ran for 2 seasons with 27 episodes and got a lot of love from the fans. This crime drama prequel series follows the story of Abby Walker, a Bostonian whose husband is murdered in front of her while they are on a journey to the West.
She decided to take revenge on those who killed her husband and embarked on a journey of revenge. Walker comes into contact with Hoyt Rawlins, a lovely man who was on his mission of searching for purpose in life. They both shake hands and set off on a journey to independence at a place in Texas.
There they find diverse and strange residents fleeing a troubled past and in search of their dreams. Both Walker and Rollins begin to struggle to find their purpose while making a difference in the lives of the other members of the town.
The release date of the prequel part is yet to be announced. But we can expect it to fall somewhere towards the end of 2022.
