Lady Gaga will Host ‘One World: Together at Home Concert’ for COVID-19 Relief Fund, Couple of Bollywood Stars also set to Feature.

The world may not be experiencing the thrill of attending music concerts amidst the lockdown, but with the help of Lady Gaga and dozens of other musicians, Global Citizen and the World Health Organization are partnering to help us get a taste of music from the comforts of our homes and simultaneously raise funds for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

The stay at home concert named One World: Together at Home digital benefit concert will broadcast on the 18th of April. It will be similar to the “Fox Presents the iHeart Living Room Concert for America” which broadcasted on the 29th of March.

The concert will see the biggest names in the music industry perform on live on stream. The entire line up currently includes the following names:

The concert will also host Indian stars, Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra.

The show will be hosted by longtime rival late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel.

Health care workers, who have been working extremely hard, will also feature in the show to give an account of their experiences of fighting the disease, and those viewing will be invigorated to take a stand in their honour.

Unlike most other online fundraiser events, donations for One World: Together at Home are being collected offline, with almost 35 million dollars already raised and a 10-million-dollar pledge came from Apple CEO Tim Cook.

One World: Together at Home will broadcast live on April 18 at 8 p.m. ET. The event will be broadcasted on Facebook, YouTube, and several other websites. The concert will also be aired on channels like ABC, NBC, CBS, iHeartMedia and Bell Media networks.
