Keira Knightley to Star in the New Movie “Boston Strangler” Produced by Margot Robbie and Ridley Scott

Keira Knightley, known for her acclaimed performances. The two-time academy award nominee is set in a new movie. A new movie, Boston Strangler, will be a serial killer drama. The movie, produced by Margot Robbie and Ridley Scott. The movie will go into production with 20th Century Studios. 

The new serial killer drama will go into production in December. The movie is produced under the banner of LuckyChap Entertainment which is founded by Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerly (Margot Robbie’s husband), Kevin Walsh, and Sophie Kerr. Josey McNamara and Ridley Scott will be producing the movie.

Boston Strangler is be based on a true story about the historic Boston Strangler’s killings. In real life, Loretta McLaughlin followed the grave danger of pursuing this story which uncovered corruption. It called the real identity of the murderer in question.  Knightley will play the role of Loretta McLaughlin, a  reporter who connected the dots of several murders. The murders related to Boston Strangler and break his story. She and her colleague Jean Cole challenged the sexism of the 1960s by reporting the serial killer. They worked to keep the women informed.

Keira Knightley has appeared in many acclaimed films The Imitation Game, Atonement, Pride, and Prejudice, Anna Karenina, Pirates of the Caribbean, Love Actually, Begin Again, and many more. Out of which she gained her first Academy nomination for the Best Actress for the movie Pride and Prejudice. The second one is for the Best Supporting Actress for  The Imitation Game.
