Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have finally mended their long broken friendship. Perry reveals everything in The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The well-known dispute between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift was filled with plots twists and lots of drama. The dispute had lasted for several years. It all started back in 2014 when Taylor Swift dropped her song “Bad Blood” for the “1989” album and it was then clear that the things between the two pop-star were getting stressful.

The news of dispute between the two started because Katy Perry’s backup dancers were given a spot in Taylor Swift’s tour which triggered the whole drama. Recently, Katy Perry appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where Katy Perry revealed what exactly was the dispute between both of them.

Saying that it was just a misunderstanding, Perry said that they have such big groups of people that like to follow them and so they kind of started turning against each other a little bit, too.

But now both of them have made amends and Perry is all about redemption and forgiveness and for setting an example for those younger people that it can be cool to ask for forgiveness and like confront someone that you may have an issue with or problem with and talk it out.

Katy further added that Taylor and she have too many things in common to keep this dispute going on. She said a fact that there are only 10 people in the world that have some things in common. Katy said that they should be friends over that.

This patch-up was also a better way to show their fans while ladies decided to patch up. Two of them appeared in Taylor’s “You Need To Calm Down” where they were seen hugging each other wearing burger and fries costumes.

Katy said that the whole thing was a kind of process. She had sent an olive branch and a note where she apologized on her part. She said that Taylor was about to start her tour and Katy felt she needed support and she did her part.
