Following the rumours of his own separation, Julianne Hough’s husband Brooks Laich says that lack of communication and growing indifference can destroy marriages during his podcast, How Men Think.
Brooks Laich is a professional ice hockey forward from Canada who has played over 750 National Hockey League games across four different teams: the Ottawa Senators, Washington Capitals, Toronto Maple Leafs and Los Angeles Kings. Currently, he is an unrestricted free agent.
Julianne Hough is a famous American dancer, actress and singer. She is a two-time champion of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. She is also a former host on America’s Got Talent and was nominated for a Creative Arts Primetime Emmy in 2007 for Outstanding Choreography in season five.
Hough and Laich met back in 2015 and are married for two years now. Since the last couple of months, there have been rumours that the couple is struggling to keep the relationship.
What Brook Laich says about divorce rumours?
‘Couples need to continually evolve,’ Brook said. He continued saying that he is going to change in the course of my life and so is his wife.
He also said that people develop some sort of indifference overtime where once there was an attraction. It’s not staying connected enough to continue to learn and grow and accept their changes and also challenge each other.
‘There’s areas in your relationship you can undoubtedly grow,’ Brooks said. He continued saying, ‘and maybe there’s just an indifference in people where they don’t want to put in the energy to do it, or they don’t think they can.’
After speaking to famed divorce attorney Laura Wasser, he confirmed that he had no plans on ending his two-year marriage by saying: ‘I hope I’m never on your podcast’.
