Many people didn’t expect The Oscar nominations for 2022 as what it is. Moreover, the snub of amazing movies like Spider-Man: No Way Home, made absolutely no sense. Jimmy Kimmel shared his opinions about the movie’s snub in his show Jimmy Kimmel Live. Likewise, the host didn’t restrict himself from showing his anger over the fact that such a great movie didn’t receive an Oscar nomination.

In his show, Jimmy Kimmel talked openly about the Oscar nominations and the unfair snubs. Additionally, the anchor stated that he considers Spider-Man: No Way Home’s snub to be the heaviest. He also expressed rage over it. Moreover, he added that the omission of the great movie shocked him since the movie clearly performed well and has three spider-men! However, the fact that Andrew Garfield and Benedict Cumberbatch earned a nomination for movies other than No Way Home is also a point of discussion. We all understand why Jimmy is furious now, don’t we?
Kimmel’s reasoning for the Movie’s Snub
Jimmy Kimmel blamed the Academy Awards for neglecting deserving movies. He considers that the Academy awards are focussed merely on serious movies. Furthermore, he expressed his unhappiness over the fact that the Awards are defying their purpose by including only serious films. Additionally, he said that Fantasia, The Wizard of Oz, and Ben-Hur are all Oscar-worthy Movies. Adding to the sarcasm, Kimmel said that the voters check listed the great actors and didn’t include Spider-Man even though they loved the movie. Kimmel is known for his humor and he didn’t take the matter lightly. Furthermore, he stated that even Nicole Kidman can’t shoot out a web from her wrists!
