Jennifer Lopez is all set to play a criminal in her upcoming movie, Hustlers. Jennifer in the film is quite different from JLo in real life. In real life, Jennifer likes to be straight and narrow. In an interaction with Nischelle Turner, Lopez revealed how she felt after watching her character in the movie.
In a press day at Los Angeles, ET’s Nischelle Turner sat down with the stars of Hustlers and had an interaction with the ladies about the film. JLo then revealed that she felt disturbed after watching herself in the movie. It was her character’s behavior that disturbed her.
“When I watched the movie for the first time, I was like, a little bit sick to my stomach. I was like, ‘Oh my God! What are they doing? They are going to kill this guy!'” she shared. “They were playing with fire,” said the actress.
Ramona, the character of Jennifer Lopez in the film is a veteran stripper. She devises a plan to scam a wealthy tycoon when the sex industry goes down during the financial crisis which took place in the 2000s.
Lopez said that she is not a jaywalk person but instead is a “by-the-book” person. She remains afraid. Her other co-stars, Wu and Palmer expressed their disbelief to this statement of Lopez.
The actresses couldn’t disagree with the thing that taking such risky roles was the craziest thing they had done ever for money. Lopez gave her confirmation for the same too. She admitted to doing it as she enjoyed it.
Lopez also confessed that the costumes were the most difficult part of the film. She said having fishnets on the bodysuit and wearing tights is a sexy costume, but what she had to wear was something next level. It was like almost being naked.
“Hustlers” is all set to hit theaters on the 13th of September, 2019.
