Jennifer Lopez who got engaged in March this year, seeks some advice on marriage from the Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Ginsburg is a jurist and lawyer who is an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court. Ginsburg revealed this during her talk at the Library of Congress National Book Festival.
The National Book Festival was held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Centre on 31st of August 2019 Saturday. It was then when Lopez had asked Ginsburg the question of the secret to a happy marriage. Ginsburg had been married for 50 years to her husband Marty Ginsburg who passed away in 2010.
“I was called up about a month or so ago by Jennifer Lopez, and she said she would like to meet me and introduce her fiancé Alex Rodriguez,” said Ginsburg. The lawyer said that her visit to Lopez was a very nice one and she (Lopez) wanted to know the secret of a happy marriage.
Continuing, Ginsburg also said that Lopez’s fiance, Alex Rodriguez is now traveling with Jennifer Lopez on all her concerts.
Ginsburg also shared a piece of advice that her mother-in-law had shared with her which now she has passed on to Lopez. Ginsburg’s Mother-in-law had said, “It helps, sometimes, to be a little deaf.”
With this advice, Ginsburg also gave an update about her health. She had been treated for pancreatic cancer earlier this month. She is now doing better and joins her work soon.
While the couple is gearing to get married soon, this marriage will be the fourth one for Jennifer Lopez and a second one for Alex Rodriguez. The couple makes sure to be with each other at all times. While Alex attends her concerts, Lopez goes to his baseball matches.
