Apparently, when a small teaser was released back in September, the sign said ‘Welcome to Hawkins, ‘ which could be noticed in the Upside Down alongside what looks like Hopper’s cabin. The words “We’re not in Hawkins anymore” also does flash up on the screen. This raises so many questions!
The biggest twist that the fourth season will be going to unravel is where Hopper is? We do know for a fact that he is alive Or not! However, even if he returns, will he become the new villain of the upcoming fourth season? We do know this for the fact that one is either a villain or turned into one in The Stranger Things. The director said that maybe Hopper is not returning.
What Will The Fourth Season Be All About On Netflix?
Netflix confirmed on 30th September that the show is coming back for a fourth season. Producer Shawn Levy said in a recent exclusive interview that season four is definitely happening and that another season might also happen as well. However, that part is still undecided, and the air is not clear yet.
It seems like Hopper can turn into a villain considering the fact that he might spend some time with the Russians as a cruel experiment. This could be their way to infiltrate Hawkins by brainwashing Hopper. The fact that whether Hopper is returning or not is still kept under wraps. The creative team is also not quite keen on disclosing any news on this front. They might be teasing fans for all we know!
