Recently, Rihanna staged her second Savage x Fenty New York Fashion Week event on Tuesday night. Just like the first, her lingerie line became a bold celebration of girl power.
The locked-down show will air on Amazon Prime later this month. This would’ve also been Rihanna’s audition for the national security adviser gig. All guests needed to show a photo ID upon entrance and photography was strictly forbidden. All the attendees had to keep their phones in sealed cases for the entire event. The influencers were left with nothing to do with their hands.
Things were easier last year when Rihanna enlisted a diverse cast to stride their stuff at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Well, this time, Amazon took strong precautions.
Famous Celebs were in attendance at the Rihanna show
Before the show started, A-list guests began to drizzle in. This includes country singer Kacey Musgraves, Anna Wintour without her ever-present sunglasses.
In attendance were Ashley Graham, James Charles, and Paris Hilton. Also present were Normani, Joan Smalls, Vanessa Hudgens, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Lisa Rinna and her daughters Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray.
The show was held on a piazza-like stage with winding staircases and arched windows. A chorus of women of all sizes started the show performing choreography by Parris Goebel.
Rihanna was among them showing her enchanting moves, thrusting her hips and flexing her wrists like a sexy flamingo.

In between the inspiring routines were the walks from the likes of Gigi and Bella Hadid, Slick Woods, Cara Delevingne, and Laverne Cox. The more exciting part was the non-famous faces of varying sizes, ethnicities, and abilities.
Moreover, there were performances by Halsey, Big Sean, Migos, and Tierra Whack. And DJ Khaled screamed his name into a microphone over and over, as he is known to do.
Meanwhile, Rihanna put the final act at the end in an off-the-shoulder black leather gown, waving to everyone as her dancers took their bows.
But for a more enhanced version, we have to wait till Amazon drops it on Sept 20.
