Dwayne Johnson has found himself a new home. The wrestler turned actor and producer recently purchased a sprawling property in Georgia earlier this month for $9,495,000.
According to TMZ, The Tock’s new abode is gigantic. The mansion itself is over 14,000 square feet. It has eight bedrooms so you know Dwayne will never run out of space for his guests. As for the mansion, it is a French country manor with top-notch luxury.
The living room features walnut floors with a massive fireplace, stunning chandelier and high ceiling beams. Even the kitchen makes for a gorgeous room with its massive marble island and wooden cabinets. In another corner, you’ll find a cozy library with its fireplace and inbuilt bookshelves. There is no dearth of warm fireplaces in the manor; the master bathroom also has one. And the star of the house remains – a private wine cellar.
As for its location, the actor veered away from the bustle of metropolitan cities and chose Georgia. Specifically, the estate is at Powder Springs, around 22 miles to the northwest of Atlanta. What is more, it is quite near the place where his elderly aunt stays in Jones County.
The main pull of the place has got to be its sprawling grounds. With 46 acres under its belt, the property is a real treat for the outdoorsmen. There is even a riding facility along with a quaint farmhouse and pool house. The well-maintained landscaped gardens will also make walks a joy for the actor and his family.
Back in March, Dwayne Johnson talked about his decision to purchase the property. He said that he was looking for a calm place to unwind and relax after his hectic schedule these past few years. Even this year and the next, the Hobbs and Shaw actor will be very busy. He has two movies lined up for release – Jumanji: The Next Level and Jungle Cruise.
The Rock is starring in as well as producing both the movies. So he will have his hands full till 2020.
