The mind-bending sci-fi thriller on Hulu, The Handmaid’s Tale is going to be back soon with the fourth season of the series.
The Handmaid’s Tale has won the Golden Globe and an Emmy Award. Fans are very excited as the series got renewed in July 2019, but there hasn’t been any confirmation on the release date yet, as of now the show in the production work and filming stage.
What the show’s about?
The show is an adaptation of the 1985 Margaret Atwood’s novel of the same name. The show depicts a future where the fertility rate of women has vastly decreased, and the women with this severe disease come to bear the children for the dominant coven. The executive producer Warren Littlefield confirmed to the TV Guide that Season 4 be released around Autumn 2020.
We see in Season 3’s finale episode that June’s mission to free kids from the goth of Gilead and she got injured and was rescued by two people. Fred was also captured. In season 4, we’ll see Gilead’s reaction to the capture of Fred, which definitely will not be easy on him and for others.
Expected Cast
The Golden Globe-winning show has the prime cast, including Yvonne Strahovski, Alexis Bledel, and Joseph Fiennes, for the second season, as of now there has been no confirmation of the actors that would be resuming their roles for the second phase given the fact that the heavy circumstances that are much likely to destroy June’s life.
Whats in store for fans in the fourth Season?
Warren Little field has already discussed the fourth season of the show. He said to TV Guide that they had not planned Season 4 to be the ultimate season, but they also look to Margaret [Atwood]’s book The Testaments and know that that story would take them 15 years into the future.
