Streaming platform Hulu has an interesting take on the ongoing unrest resolving the Black Lives Matter protest and released a brand new dramedy series Woke.

The first season is finally here and here are everything about this newest series on the streaming service. The show sees the return of New Girl star Lamorne Morris as a cartoonist Keef, who inherits a rather unusual power after an aggressive accident with the local police. The first season will manage to leave behind an impression as the story and the central character is based on a true event. Moreover, fans will be happy to know that the series has officially been renewed for season 2 by Hulu. We are about to see more of Keef and his new escapades.

Moreover, the first season of the series had eight episodes altogether so, we can assume that the second season will also follow a similar pattern. The first season finale ended with a cliffhanger which assured fans that there’s more with Keef’s newfound consciousness.

As the first season finale was titled Blue Lies Matter thus, the second season will further dive deeper into the issues of racism as Keef went through a sudden awakening of conscious as he realises the causal racism that goes around him on a regular basis. The streaming platform has yet not revealed any release date for the second season.
